From the moment Ally came out to our house to the installation. We couldn't fault their professionalism. I was not sure what colour, type, underlay we wanted, but with the amazing experience and understanding of our situation, Ally made it easy. Am not sure of the name of the gentleman who came out to install carpet, but he was also efficient, and did a amazing job, from ripping up old carpet and underlay to installation and taking old carpet away. Tristan, Ally and the team were great. Extremely helpful with a huge range of options (a lot more than other shops) to choose from. Very knowledgeable and gave us great advice from the start that helped us get a great result in the end. We had to make several  changes during the renovation and they were happy to come out several times to check measurements etc. They were extremely patient, nothing was a hassle and they always did their best to accomadate and help us out. Simmons are exceptional for several reasons. When we renovated the kitchen we had higher end flooring incl karndean installed, and all bedrooms incl stairs re-carpeted for just over 16k. For the products and the job this is good! Recently we renovated a bathroom, and had vinyl installed for $900. Simmons are very competitive in their pricing… No BS - a diff provider quoted over double for a lesser product! The staff at Simmons are approachable, helpful, honest, and flexible with people who tend to chop and change choices like me. All the layers were professional and polite… and very neat with their work. Most recently the layer actually brought back off cuts after I forgot to ask for them on the day he was here. I was taken back as this kind of service is unheard of these days. Was in the unenviable position of having to replace flooring for an entire house (carpet and vinyl boards) in a hurry at the most economical price possible. Can not recommend Anthony from Simon's more highly. He was out quoting within a day of my initial phone call and not only his knowledge, professionalism and excellent customer service but also his caring nature and desire to do the best for the customer made the whole process quick and painless. He recommended colours and styles that fitted the spaces perfectly and went out of his way to have the products installed as quickly as possible which was a huge relief! It bugs me every day I walk through to the back door. I was charged extra to allow for 'pattern matching' to make the squares in the pattern line up throughout that area, but That didn't happen. There are noticeable joins and the squares don't align. The attitude of the staff leaves much to be desired for not conceding that the vinyl layer made a mistake, and for not refunding the extra they charged me. However, they did come back to rectify one tiny part, but not the bigger section as they said it would cost them too much! Figure that one out!!

As anyone would know, it is not at all easy choosing the right floor coverings, but with the subtle guidance and professional colour co-ordination insights given the choice becomes so much easier. Tristan was a delight to deal with and very patiently answered my questions and walked me through which carpet would best suit my needs. My carpet arrived when he said it would and Simons were more than happy to store it for me until our builders were ready. I changed the laying date a couple of times but it was not big deal for them.  It has now been well laid and I am more than happy with the job they did.  Well done Simons Carpets - I would happily recommend them should you be looking for floor coverings.
