Absolutely disgusting behaviour from steve the manager.
Its one thing having multiple quote changes and adding on money, being misquoted and having delays of 3+ months despite being paid in full. Its a completely other thing being berrated, sworn at for simply asking why it was taking months & being verbally stood over as a woman in front of our children.
We cancelled our job and he isnt welcome in our home- the treatment as a woman was horrific! Called somewhere else and told them of our experience and he had been fired from that place for standing over a woman in her own home! Man needs the sack- woeful and disgusting especially in this day and age. 0 stars would pay double to not have this man speak to my family again.
He also left flooring half ripped up.

The job did take extra months and multiple reschedules including on the day being cancelled POST change of job, I have no worries getting subflooring replaced and had a contractor in to look and replace the next day- it was a non-issue and would have continued using the same service to replace the floors once floors were replaced however chose not to due to the language and mistreatment from steve personally- multiple times! We infact were going to cancel after a phonecall that was extremely disrespectful however worried about losing the money due to cancellation.
This man no matter what you reject is despicable in customer service. We have had multiple repairs and renovations done on this home with no issues with any contractor prior and will continue to use local contractors to renovate our home and appreciate the cost, respect and craftsmanship of each person- I however will not have someone who is down right abusive in my home and I reccomend that carpet one lithgow looks at who they employ and instead of commenting back on a post reaches out and discusses rather than sweep it under a rug and pretend it didnt happen- steve is disrespectful, agressive and uses poor language in front of small children, this is a fact and is not up for debate.
I am happy my time with them has come to an end and am happy to give other local businesses the work.

Very happy with our choice of Carpet One Lithgow to supply and lay carpet in our new home just in time for Christmas. Steve and the team went above and beyond within a week of me contacting them to completing the job. We highly recommend them to anyone wanting great service and products to match at a very reasonable price. Everyone at carpet one Lithgow was great to deal with. Staff in store were super helpful, Steve did fantastically organising our carpet install and amazingly even got it done almost a week early. The installer, Shane, was great- up for a chat and had some great advice around other renovations. He did an excellent job in a pretty speedy time frame.
Overall we can't be happier and I've also had friends say about as much to me before we stared this process.
